Working on board vessels on behalf of shipowners or charterers as supercargo for steel, breakbulk, project and grain cargoes, coordinating with terminals, stevedoring companies, Port Wardens and assisting the ship staff in:

Preparing cargo plans based on dimensions, particulars and/or plans of the ship.

Using the onboard loadicator for examining the longitudinal and transversal stability and deflections.

Using the CSS Code Annex 13 calculations for developing securing plans for project cargoes and best lashing practices for coils cargoes.

Assisting the Master and Chief Mate in preparing grain calculations with Canadian / NCB forms while maximizing cargo lift.

Using on board trimming tables and hydrostatics for final trimming calculations in order to load to the maximum draft.

Assessing cargo suitability and making recommendations according to IMSBC code and IMDG code.
